OUR MISSION

The physical world

deserves the same data discipline

as the digital one.

Digital workflows are logged, analysed, and optimised as a matter of course. Physical operations — the shop floor, the assembly line, the factory — still run largely on assumption, periodic observation, and experience that walks out the door when people leave.

Almetra exists to close that gap. Not with more dashboards, but with a genuine intelligence layer that captures how production actually works and turns that knowledge into improvement, automation readiness, and production blueprints.

Ground truth

over assumptions.

Every claim we make is grounded in data from real deployments. We don't sell projections — we show what has actually happened on the floor.

Privacy

as a founding constraint.

We designed the system to be privacy-preserving before we shipped the first line. Edge processing, anonymisation, and works-council approval are not afterthoughts.

Intelligence

not observation.

Visibility is the entry point. The goal is always what that visibility makes possible — improvement, automation readiness, and production blueprints.

Founding Story

Built from the

Factory floor up.

Almetra was founded on a simple belief: factories already hold the answers to many of their biggest challenges, but too much of that knowledge is still hidden in manual work, fragmented systems, and everyday shopfloor complexity. While manufacturers are under pressure to increase productivity, protect quality, and stay competitive in high-cost environments, the reality of how work actually happens is often difficult to see, measure, and improve.

That is why Almetra builds AI for the real world of production. By combining computer vision, sensor data, and manufacturing expertise, Almetra helps industrial teams understand actual processes, identify bottlenecks, and turn operational complexity into clear paths for improvement. The goal is not to replace people, but to give factories the intelligence layer they need to make better decisions, improve work, and prepare for the next generation of automation.

milestones

Our story started in 2024

and is just getting written.

2025

Rebranded as Almetra

Category expanded from shopfloor optimisation to the intelligence layer for factories — with production blueprints as the long-term vision.

2024

AI analytics layer

Agent-based insights, AI root-cause analysis, and process benchmarking across sites. Grundfos and Viessmann deploy.

2023

Platform expansion

PLC and MES integration shipped. Automated line monitoring goes live. Multi-site deployments begin.

2022

First enterprise customer

ABB deploys across semi-automated lines. +15% productivity. Payback under one year.

2021

Founded in Berlin

First deployment at a German electronics manufacturer — one camera, one assembly line, immediate results.
